Tiger Lily Press, a non-profit fine art printmaking studio, invites the community to its annual sale on Saturday, November 4, 2017, from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. The sale will take place on the first floor of the Clifton Cultural Arts Center, 3711 Clifton Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45220. (The location has loads of convenient parking on McAlpin Ave!)
Original etchings, screen prints, woodblocks, collagraphs, monoprints, letterpress, lithographs, and linocuts will be available, framed and unframed. All prints are limited edition handmade prints created by the exhibiting artists, not mass-produced copies. Prints, cards, artists’ books, journals, fine arts papers, fabric items, and other unique items will be available for purchase. The artists will be on site to discuss their work and printmaking processes.
Participating printmakers include: Michael Altman, James Billiter, Rick Finn, April Foster, Maureen George, Saad Ghosn, Christine Hollering, Nicole Hollon, Tory Keith, Andrea Knarr, Nicci Mechler, Kathleen Piercefield, Ken Swinson, Brad Thiele, Jan Thomas, Carla Trujillo, Nancy Turner, Carole Winters, David Wischer, and Mary Woodworth.
Also this year, regional printmaking groups and studios that are participating include the Bluegrass Printmakers’ Cooperative (Stephen Wiggins), DIY Printing (Aaron Kent), Dayton Printmakers Cooperative (Miranda Taylor, Sherraid Scott, Micah Zavacky, Doug Taylor and Diane Stemper), and Pull Club (Amy Scarpello, Chelsey Hughes, Linda Winder).
Margaret Rhein, owner of Terrapin Paper Mill, will be on hand with handmade paper, cards, and more.
Tiger Lily Press custom-printed work aprons will be available for sale.
