TLP Print Exchange for Summer 2024

We are inviting members (and TLP adjacent folks) to participate in our first ever print exchange. Our theme this year is “Cincinnati Treasures,” inviting artists to create an edition of prints that showcases this city and all the unique beauty it has to offer. Everyone will create an edition of 12 prints, and will receive 10 prints at random back. TLP will keep two of these prints, and at this year’s members show, we will have a VIP pop-up event displaying our prints from this exchange. The prints Tiger Lily has collected will then be sold at this event to help fundraise money for TLP.

Participants will be asked to pay a $35 participation fee. This fee will cover portfolio collation, purchasing and printing boxes to return prints in, and postage for those who cannot come to pick up the final portfolios. Please pay the fee through the Pay Pal link below:

Here are the requirements for the portfolio:

Theme: Cincinnati Treasures: make a print that is based off of something Cincinnati related! The theme is open-ended, so create whatever comes to mind when thinking of this theme.

Image size: 6” x 6”

Paper size:  8” x 8”

Edition size: 12

Materials/Process: You can use any process/however many colors you want. We only ask that you use a traditional printmaking process in your print: intaglio, relief, lithography, or screenprinting. Cyanotypes will be accepted as well.

Due Date: July 15^th. All prints must be dropped off or mailed to TLP by this date!!!!

We ask that your prints are clean and professionally presented. All portfolios must arrive packaged well with a sheet of glassine or interleaving between each print. Depending on how many participants we receive, you will in return get a portfolio of 10 prints at random. We will contact you when the prints are collated and ready for pick up/ shipping. Please include your address if you want yours to be shipped.
