Tiger Lily Press Plans 40th Anniversary Exhibition


Join the members of Tiger Lily Press, Cincinnati’s only public fine art printmaking studio, as they celebrate 40 years of making prints with an exhibition of work from the studio’s past and present. Learn more about the process of printmaking and the history of the studio via this special exhibit, artist talks, classes, and more.

The exhibition will take at the Kennedy Heights Art Center, 6546 Montgomery Road, Cincinnati, OH, 45213 from August 3 to September 14, 2019. The opening reception is August 3 from 6 to 8pm.

The main exhibition will feature work by current Tiger Lily Press members in a variety of printmaking techniques. Members exhibiting are Joe Bohache, Beth Brann, Fred Daniell, D. R. Danielsson, Joan Effertz, Louann Elliott, Rick Finn, Sheila Fleischer, Amy Foltz, Maureen George, Saad Ghosn, Jay Harriman, Renee Harris, Anne Marie Herrera, Tory Keith, Eric Klopfenstein, Andrea Knarr, Theresa Kuhr, Mary Mark, Susan Naylor, Nikki Orlemann, Kathleen Piercefield, Blanche Pringle-Smith, Margaret Rhein, Jonpaul Smith, Vanessa Sorensen, Diane Stemper, Jan Thomas, Breanne Trammell, Carole Winters, Mary Woodworth, and Nora Young.

Work from Tiger Lilyโ€™s Working Artist Program residency will also be exhibited: Jan Thomas, Jack Arthur Wood, Jonpaul Smith, Rick Finn, Brad Thiele, Renee Harris, and current resident artist, Breanne Trammell. Also on display will be selections from group print portfolios and the Tiger Lily Press Art Calendar.

Artist walk-throughs have been scheduled for Saturday, August 10 at 2 pm and Saturday, September 7 at 2 pm. Louann Elliot, President of Tiger Lily Press Board of Directors, will give a talk about printmaking on Saturday, August 17, at 1 pm.

Printmaking classes for adults and children will be offered at Kennedy Heights Art Center on Saturday, August 24 and Saturday, September 7. Refer to Kennedy Heights Art Centerโ€™s website for complete details.
