Greetings from the new President

2017 was a productive and busy year for Tiger Lily Press. The studio was kept functional by Studio Manager Susan Naylor and staffed by monitors Tory Keith and Mary Woodworth. Several classes were taught by top printmakers in the area. We participated in the first ever Printerโ€™s Faire in Covington. A successful Annual Print Sale took place in November. Our Working Artist Resident, Brad Thiele, biked across the U.S. and made prints about his journey. Ivan Bautista from Oaxaca gave a presentation about printmakers in Mexico.

We stepped out of our box to try some new things. We’ll continue to stretch our wings in 2018. We have a members show coming up in April (more on that soon), a new resident artist (Renee Harris, see home page), spring classes have been scheduled, we will be printing our biennial calendar for 2019, our print sale is scheduled for November (in a new location), and we are planning for our 40th anniversary in 2019.

Keep up with our activities via this website, on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, or by signing up to receive our email newsletter. See home page.

While the mission of Tiger Lily Press is to produce, preserve, and promote the art of printmaking, we want our members to know that TLP is The Place to Print! We want to see you all in the studio.

Happy Printing!

Louann Elliott
President
